Energy efficient windows are an important consideration for both new and existing homes. Heat gain and heat loss through windows are responsible for 25%–30% of residential heating and cooling energy use.
The inspection will include but not limited to a representative number of doors and windows by opening and closing them, the floors, walls, ceilings, stairs, steps, landings, stairways and ramps, as well as the railings, guards and handrails, garage vehicle doors and the operation of garage vehicle door openers, using normal operating controls. The inspection will describe the type of garage door, all exterior doors, and a representative number of interior doors.
